Champ Camp includes:
  • Intensive Workshops Receive detailed instruction and hands-on practice sessions led by Robert Royston. Our workshops cover various aspects of technique, styling, musicality, and performance.
  • Competition Preparation Hone your skills for preparing for competitions, including strategy, mental preparation, and performance tips for solo and heated formats.
  • Customized Syllabus You determine the focus of your Champ Camp (i.e. Routine training, preparing for The Open, etc.).
  • Personalized Feedback Get personalized feedback on your dancing to help you identify your strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Social Dancing Opportunities Practice your skills in social dance settings, crucial for applying what you’ve learned and gaining confidence on the dance floor.

  • Attendees must be of similar dance skill levels
  • Attendees must be able to collaborate in an educational environment
  • Attendees must provide their own mode of transportation
  • Attendees must provide their own food and drinks
  • Attendees must be willing to dance with any other attendee unless otherwise approved in advance
  • Attendees must secure studio space if not held at the NY or FL camp locations
  • Lodging is included/provided at our NY or FL camp locations
  • Attendee Camp price will not be lowered if other accommodations are secured
  • Attendees wishing to hold a camp weekend outside of the NY/FL area must secure their own lodging, as well as provide lodging for Robert

terms.

  • 50% deposit is due upon scheduling
  • The deposit is refundable only in extreme circumstances (for example, if half of camp attendees become sick or in the event of extreme weather)
  • The remaining fees are due on Day 1 of the Camp
  • Camps can be rescheduled once but must be within 6 months of the originally scheduled date (unless otherwise approved due to lack of availability)
  • Robert must approve all attendees
  • If a substitution needs to be made due to an attendee not being able to attend any longer, Robert must approve the replacement
  • Any video recaps or notes should not be shared outside of that Camp’s attendees
